You may think Megan's life involves running from one social event to another.
That's pretty much true.
However, on occasion, Megan's life includes other things. On Monday and Tuesday Megan reluctantly missed school to participate in the regional BPA conference (Business Professionals of America). She placed third in her event, meaning she can now miss more school to compete in state, then on to nationals!
Go, Megan!
Tuesday evening Megan visited the local nursing home to play "Silent Night" on her guitar.
Here she is, smiling in relief that she's almost done and she didn't drop her guitar, fall off her chair, or play "Poker Face" by mistake.
You did so good, Megan!
You can strum your guitar for me any time you want!
Finally, no pre-vacation school night is complete without the seriously procrastinated English paper. This paper is on "The Archetype of the Unfaithful Wife", citing three works of literature from three different centuries. Sounds fascinating, doesn't it?
Look at the expression of pure joy on Megan's face!
Look at that alert and focused posture!
Look at how multi-talented Megan can appear to be dead (or sleeping) while looking up sources on one computer, typing on another, and reading her cell phone message sent from one of several male admirers, all at the same time!
This girl is going places!

3rd?! GO MEGAN! When and where are regionals? btw can you teach me to play guitar? I always wanted to learn!
Nationals are in Washington DC this year. Megan isn't sure if she wants to go---she's already been there, seen that.
