It's hard to believe this body jumped out of bed this morning at 5 am like a spring, as if she hadn't spent the last week staying up all night, running all day, and playing endlessly in the warm California sun.
By 5 pm today it all caught up to Megan. Hailey looked all over the house for her, calling her name. No answer. Finally Hailey found this lump in Megan's bed.
She tried the one (wo)man shake. No response.
Hailey recruited help and tried the two (wo)man shake. Still no response. We may have to try again another day.

Given Megan's level of exhaustion, I'd said it was a big success.
