The day of Makayla's surgery was the last night Ashley and McKay were staying with us. They leave to go to a family reunion this morning, then back to Idaho. We all decided to go to Fuddruckers for supper last night with Amy and girls. In addition to Fudd's regular burgers, they had elk, wild boar, and buffalo burgers. Several of us tried the elk burger, which was quite good.
McKay! You're not suppose to tell Ashley about her elk burger breath!
Oh, those young people!
Since Makayla had just had surgery that morning, Amy was pretty sure she wouldn't be hungry.
Amy didn't even bother to order food for her.
However, the minute Hailey stepped away from the table, Makayla picked up her spoon and dug into to Hailey's macaroni and cheese.
She couldn't shove it in fast enough.
The funniest part...
...was the way she kept looking to see where Hailey was...
...hoping she won't reappear...
...to reclaim her food before Makayla could shovel in a little more.

It was pretty entertaining. I guess we can safely say she has gotten her appetite back.
It was fun to have those Pearson newlyweds visit.

What a cute couple! I miss seeing them 3 times a week in class! Thats good MaKayla has an appetite, must be a good sign!
