Oh, The Weather Outside is Frightful!

What could Megan, Hailey, and Stan be looking at?

Sunday's lawn dandruff, aka "hail".  Golf ball size.

It's a good thing Stan and crew got ALL of the tar paper up on Friday and Saturday!

Wait!  What's the matter, honey?  Hail does what?

Hail rips through paper?

You mean like tar paper?

Is that a problem?

I'm guessing that's a yes?

But only if it rains all day, right?  Like almost an inch?
 Uh-oh.

I guess that explains the wet spots on the ceiling in the kitchen,

living room,

bedrooms,

and garage.

Oh, but look on the bright side!
Now we get to FINALLY get rid of our popcorn ceilings,
and we have a fun pond in our front yard!

Oh good!  No more people left with hair to pull.

While I hate that you have to go through this AGAIN (Have you had a record number of hailstorms this year?), I do love that picture of Trash. It would make a nice 18 x 24 blow-up over your fireplace.

The fun never ends in Montana, huh? Congratulations on devising a way to replace unwanted ceilings.

Oh no!! What a mess! I don't think I'm ever moving to Montana ;-) with all that darn hail.

Another hail of a day in Montana that provides a true picture of the "Trash Face." Good luck with the aftermath.

That's the first thing I thought of too, Oh no Dad, that picture might come back to bite you! Like blown up on your 60th or something. But I do love it! Sorry about the roof, what bad luck. But nice to finally get rid of the popcorn!

Oh man that makes my stomach turn! I love the picture of dad and Hailey though! And horray for the popcorn ceiling to be gone, but not for everything else

How terrible! Probably not the way you wanted the popcorn ceiling to come down. I am not missing being a homeowner after reading your post

Will your insurance cover some of this latest damage?

Yes, insurance is coming on Friday to estimate the damage and write us a check. And no, we haven't had more hail storms than usual, but the storms we've had have had bigger hail.
